Narrative
NASHVILLE, TN – Two men died early Thursday in a multi-vehicle collision caused by a drunk driver on the northern outskirts of Nashville.
The accident happened shortly after 1 a.m. along I-24 near Old Hickory Boulevard. This is in the Whites Creek area, just west of Davidson Academy.
Police say that a Dodge Ram 2500 rear-ended a Chevy Silverado, causing a series of additional crashes.
The two occupants of the Silverado sustained fatal injuries. Authorities identified them as 45-year-old Bradley Parrott and 72-year-old William Parrott.
Police arrested the driver of the Dodge, identified as 25-year-old Daniel Caravaca-Bonilla, on charges that include vehicular manslaughter, DUI, and handgun possession while under the influence.
