Narrative
PIGEON FORCE, TN – Two vehicle struck and fatally injured a pedestrian in central Sevier County on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. along Veterans Boulevard, which runs north to south from US-321 in Pigeon Force to US-411 in Sevierville. Officials haven’t yet provided a cross street for the accident.
At this time, it’s unclear if the pedestrian was attempting to cross Veterans Boulevard or if he was walking along the roadway. Additionally, police haven’t indicated if the victim was using a designated crosswalk.
Authorities declared the victim deceased at the scene. They’ve not yet released his identity to the public.
Both drivers stopped to render aid and speak with police.
